Armadale City Concert Band aims to perform music which is musically challenging to its members and entertaining for its audience. Members range in age from fifteen to sixty plus.
The band enters the West Australian Band Association’s “State Eisteddfod” from time to time and has won ten times out of twelve entries. We are the current West Australian Open A Grade Champions having gained that title at the competition held in June 2012. Currently we have entered for the past six years. From 2007 – 2010 we competed in Division B and won the competition. In 2011 we were runner up in the Open A Grade division, thus ranking us as the number two band in Western Australia. Previous championship wins had been in 1991, 1992, 1995, 1998 and 2002. In 1991 the band also competed in the Band Spectacular, winning Division A.
