As host of the National Fresh Hits night show, Daniel Gawned flexed his humor and witty persona, securing him the role as host on his own national Saturday night show on the Nova Network. Daniel’s radio career began as the weekly movie review guy at 97.3 Coast FM Mandurah at age 16. When the weekly on air segment become less about the movies and more about his antics, 747 Radio West saw potential in Daniel, and offered him his own breakfast show for the next two years.
A job opportunity in metropolitan radio saw Daniel move to Melbourne to host Triple M’s National all Aussie Home Brew Show and the Saturday Night Party Show, a gig that saw him featured in FHM Magazine.
Daniel’s zest for life and radio experience has seen him evolve into a versatile character. This can be seen through his ability to not only be an on air announcer but to work as panel operator on Nova’s National Drive Show Ryan, Monty & Wippa.
Aside from radio, Daniel Gawned has become a regular guest on Channel Seven’s The Morning Shown and was chosen as the main presenter for the production of the Paspaley Polo on One HD.
With an already very successful radio career, not to mention his infectious good-humour, liveliness and some what mischievous qualities, Gawned is poised to continue his winning streak in the radio world and is definitely a name to remember.
