Dave Tweedie

Dave Tweedie is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and film composer based in Los Angeles. He has written music for multiple television shows including So You Think You Can Dance (composer Seasons 3-6), American Idol, Nashville, MTV’s Celebrity Rap Superstar, Bad Girls Club, Paris Hilton’s My New BFF, Wake Brothers and The Devils Ride. Dave’s music has also been featured in several commercials, including DIRECTV and JCPenney. Dave has played or recorded with Stevie Wonder, Angelo Moore & Norwood Fisher (FishBone), David Immergluck (Counting Crows), Earl Slick (David Bowie), Les Claypool, Michael Manring (Book of Flames), Eric Martin, Alex Skolnick, Karl Perazzo, and DJ Jay-J Hernandez. He has also produced tracks for No Doubt, Flipsyde, and Akon. Music film credits include The Brass Tea Pot (2013), Velocity (2004) and as the composer for the award-winning and critically acclaimed, award winning documentary Batkid Begins (2015).
