Gabriel and Cecilia are one of Australia’s favourite acts from the Voice season 3. Based in Sydney NSW.
This brother and sister folk duo recently won the Byron Bay busking competition and impressed a crowd of 300 at the iconic Blues and Roots festival. Echoing the likes of Kate Miller-Heidke, Harvard and Circa Survive, they are each other’s biggest fans and having the ability to sing together is bringing them closer every day.
Growing up in the culturally diverse region of Byron Bay and with professional musicians as parents, they have been turning heads with their original music since they were very… young. In between sport and painting, 16-year-old Cecilia is finishing year 11 while 20-year-old parkour enthusiast Gabriel, is a full-time musician and music teacher’s aid for his father.
The brother and sister duo sang a beautiful rendition of Bastille’s ‘Laura Palmer’. for the blind auditions.
Gabriel and Cecilia performed ‘Titanium’ by David Guetta on The Voice Australia Showdowns and went straight through to the finals.
The siblings gave a powerful performance of David Guetta’s big hit to impress Will.
Celebrity coaches Will, Kylie Minogue, Joel Madden and Ricky Martin will have to choose the best 4 artists to take through to vie for the title of The Voice Australia 2014.
