Albany born violinist Madeleine Antoine received her Bachelor of Music Performance from the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2010 where she was a member of the Villette string quartet -winners of the EKCO Chamber Prize (2009) and was a finalist in the Warana Concerto Competition in 2008 performing Wieniawski Concerto No.2 and again in 2009 performing Viextemps Concerto no.4 with the Faith Court Orchestra. Madeleine studied with Jacek Slawomirski and Peter Tanfield and at the conclusion of her study was placed on the Dean’s Honour roll.

Perth-based violinist Madeleine Antoine completed a Bachelor of Music Performance at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2010. She then studied at the Prague Conservatory of Music and The University of Western Australia. Madeleine has featured as soloist with orchestras and on tour with the WA Ballet, and she toured Canada with the Orchestre de la Francophonie. Madeleine commissioned a new sonata ‘The Dying Sun’ by Rebecca Erin Smith, inspired by four natural landscapes in Western Australia, recorded with pianist Setsu Metsuda. As a freelance musician Madeleine performs with the Perth Symphony Orchestra, Perth Chamber Orchestra and WA Philharmonic, as well as with ensembles for weddings and events. She is available to perform solo or with an ensemble for bookings.
