About Natasha Stuart (NSW)

Natasha's passion for music started at an early age. Growing up in Swaziland (a small country in Southern Eastern Africa) she was surrounded by African rhythms and regularly watched the traditional Swazi "Sibhaca" dancing. Loving the movement and music so much, it wasn't long until Natasha started learning to dance herself. Lessons in ballet began at age 4 and when the family moved back to Australia she took up tap dancing as well as jazz ballet. This training led Natasha to her first performances in front of a live audience taking the lead in two school productions (one all dancing, one all singing) and the discovery of her extraordinary voice.

Another stint in Africa, this time in The Gambia, West Africa, encouraged Natasha to explore singing further and it was at this stage (at the age of 10) that she decided that singing was something she wanted to do for life.

As an adult, Natasha has built up a very impressive resume working as a backing vocalist for some highly respected artists including: Delta Goodrem, Kelly Osbourne, Mica Paris, Richard Clapton, Paul Mac, Lionel Richie, Guy Sebastian, Craig McLauchlan, Christine Anu

Natasha has also worked as a featured vocalist for CCENT on tribute nights for bands such as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and The Beatles at venues such as "The Basement" and the Sydney Olympic Park "Overflow". These shows have been a huge success. The most recent Basement shows sold out very quickly and the show at Olympic Park attracted an audience of approximately 8,000 people! On these shows, Natasha has been in the company of other amazing artists such as iOTA, David Campbell, Steve Balbi (Noiseworks), Jack Jones (Southern Sons) and Eric Weideman (1927).

Natasha is currently singing every Sunday afternoon from 3.30-7pm at "The Bridge Hotel" in Balmain with DRIVE. This band includes Peter Northcote, Dario Bortolin, Lloyd G and Spencer Jones. The list of artists that members of this band has played and toured with is too long to mention but it includes the "who's who" of Australian and International recording artists.
