With a diverse repertoire of styles as a trumpeter, Adrian has played for artists and ensembles varying from top Australian Orchestras including the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Opera Australia, Grammy winner Peabo Bryson, Latin Grammy winners Oscar D’Leon, the Spanish Harlem Orchestra, and Fania All-star Jimmy Bosch, and in such prestigious venues as the Shanghai, Beijing, and Sydney Opera Houses, and for the Sands Casino group and Celebrity Cruises.
As a freelance musician, Adrian is a busy trumpet player in Sydney, Australia, although he has spent much of the last few years working internationally. He regularly performs in commercial, jazz and classical performances, as well as arranging and recording horn sections for artists in many styles. He specialises in Latin and Commercial trumpet playing, having played with some of the biggest names in the latin world. He also records for many artists through both independent and commercial recording labels.
Adrian has performed numerous times on Television shows in Australia, and has been a featured performer on Chinese television on more than one occasion. He has also performed on television advertisements both as an actor and session trumpet player. He has toured Australia, China, USA, and South America playing trumpet with groups ranging from big bands, Brass bands and orchestras to salsa groups, and has worked as a cruise-ship musician.
Whilst working as trumpet player, Adrian studied architecture and gained a position with a leading commercial firm in Australia, balancing a busy schedule of months of trumpet touring a year with his other duties, which he has achieved for the last 7 years. Adrian is now working full-time as a trumpet player to further his own artistic endeavours.
