Established in Singapore in 2005, Bantus Capoeira Singapore (BCS) was formed to develop, perform and promote Capoeira and its associated forms of Afro-Brazilian culture like Samba, Forro, Maculele and Batucada.
As part of a global network of schools founded by Mestre Pintor (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) in 1991, BCS? mission is to promote and educate the public on these art forms, in addition to maintaining a healthy lifestyle globally. BCS is continually being invited to perform for various key events in Singapore and Asia and is involved in many Youths-At-Risk projects. At BCS, Capoeira is not just an art; it is a way of life
