Adam Ladell

16-year-old Adam Ladell wishes he could sing all the time, not just because he loves music but because it’s the only time he gets a rest. Adam Ladell has Tourette’s syndrome and has physical and vocal tics interrupt his waking moment. The relief comes when he sings and sleeps. Born in South Africa in the beach town of Durban Adam had a pretty idyllic childhood. When he was 13 that all changed when he was diagnosed. Over time Adam has learnt to be friends with his uniqueness and wants to show Australia that you can follow your dreams despite your disability. Adam’s idol is Harrison Craig and hopes to follow in the footsteps and turn a chair, overcome his disability and make it in the industry.
