Alfie Arcuri burst into the spotlight after winning The Voice in 2016. With his uniquely emotive voice and captivating personality, he quickly captured the hearts of the nation. Born to Italian-Australian parents, Alfie transitioned from a promising career in architecture to sign a global deal with Universal Music.Over the past year, Alfie has been working with some of the music industry's top songwriters and producers both in Australia and the United States. This collaboration has allowed him to explore a more vulnerable and surprising side of his artistry. Alfie has also headlined major national television events, including The State of Origin, Melbourne Cup’s Exclusive Bird Cage, and Channel Nine's Carols by Candlelight.
In 2019, Alfie was a finalist in Eurovision - Australia Decides, which led to him representing Australia at two of Europe's premier song contests. He won Best Song Interpretation at Golden Stav and recently participated in the global New Wave festival in Sochi, Russia.
Alfie's first hit single, ‘If They Only Knew,’ has garnered over 7 million streams, showcasing his signature sound. His musical journey has seen him perform and tour across Australia, Europe, and the US. As a talented songwriter, Alfie has penned tracks for Eurovision, The Voice Australia Winners Singles, and the 2017 Marriage Equality campaign anthem ‘Love is Love.’
In 2020, Alfie made waves internationally with his feature on Gran Error’s hit single 'Buona Sera.’ His single ‘Same’ was a finalist among more than 4,000 entries in the 2018 Vanda and Young Global Songwriting Competition. In 2021, his single 'Handsome Man' won Best Ballad at the Berlin Song Week Conference and was again shortlisted for the prestigious Global Songwriting Contest.
