Since her start in the biz in the early 1980’s, Scotty has been making people laugh with her blend of personal stories and topical observations. In 2004, Scott received a Barry Award nomination for Best Show at the Melbourne Comedy Festival for her sold out festival hit, Scotty and Son, which featured her nineteen year-old son. She received a second nomination the following year for Denise Scott Gives Good Council.
Denise hit the road in 2008, playing a core part in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow, touring in regional towns all throughout Australia and even performing in Singapore.
