Comprised of Kathryn Shinnick (violin) and Sidney Harvey (cello), Dolce Ensembles endeavours to make music more accessible and enjoyable for the modern audience. Specialising in both classical and contemporary music, the duo is suitable for any event and tailor the repertoire according to the needs of the client and the event.
They have performed at many corporate functions, including the CHOGM events in 2011 which saw them perform for the Queen at her hosting of the Banquet Dinner at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Perth. Other performances include the 2011 White Ribbon Ball in support of the Anti Violence Against Women Campaign, the Symphony of Sunflowers which celebrated International Day for People with Disability and the 2011 Commonwealth People’s Forum. They also have played at many weddings, in locations such as Caversham House, Peel Manor House, Brookleigh Estate, Sandalford Winery, Araluen Golf Course and Kings Park.
Individually, they have won many awards and are highly sought after soloists and orchestral musicians. Their musical experience is vast, from performing with symphony orchestras to playing with rock bands. They have performed internationally as part of various ensembles.
