Not to mention winning over the hearts of 3 of the 4 judges who turned their chairs around for her including: Will.i.am from hip-hop/r'n'b/pop/dance band Black Eyed Peas, pop punk band Good Charlotte's lead vocalist Joel Madden, and Australia's very own Kylie Minogue - all pleading for her to choose their team. Jhoanna made a strategic decision to work with Will.i.am because of his record producing and entrepreneurial background, however moved onto Kylie Minogue's Top 9 after being saved during her Battle Rounds. Drawing people in with her surprisingly big soulful voice for a small girl, her talent to sing was formed through singing regularly at the church she grew up in. Mum the karaoke queen would beg to differ, having her perform in front of family and friends from a young age. Growing up in a musical family, Jhoanna has always loved to use her gift to encourage others and put a smile on everyone's faces. She enjoys singing for weddings, corporate events, as well as charity and community events. Jhoanna is one to watch out for in the music scene - currently working on original songs to share to the world and inspire very soon!
