About Johnny Rollins

Johnny Rollins, a beloved contestant from The Voice Australia 2014. Known for his prowess as a percussionist both domestically and on the international stage with his band 'Carter Rollins', Johnny's journey as an R'n'B soul artist began at the age of 29. During his time on The Voice, Johnny Rollins was mentored by Kylie Minogue, competing against contestants from various coaches' teams. Originally part of the Surf Coast rock duo, Johnny expressed his aspiration to turn his passion into a full-fledged career.

“If I could be able to do music every day and make music with other well known artists, that would be incredible,” he said. His influences include John Legend, Lenny Kravitz and Ben Harper as his musical role models.
