Born in Canada and raised in heartland NSW, she got her start in music on the streets of Tamworth, often busking and performing at the Tamworth Country Music Festival.
Now living in Sydney to pursue her music, Lane is still a country girl at heart. Vocally Jeff Buckley, Hiatus Kaiyote, Eva Cassidy and Janis Joplin inspire her.
