In 2009 he captivated audiences at the famous Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland where he received a standing ovation. In 2010 Liam was featured as an outstanding rising talent at Newcastle Jazz Festival where he performed with his Quartet and later in the year was nominated for a MO Award as Best New Talent. In May 2010, Liam was one of six vocalists selected Nationally by jazz virtuoso James Morrison to perform at the prestigious "Generations in Jazz" at Mt Gambier, South Australia. At only sixteen years of age he was the youngest-ever vocalist in this acclaimed event. 2011 began with a knockout performance on New Year's Eve at Taronga Park Zoo, Sydney with the Swing City Big Band. In April, Liam went on an East-Coast tour with the "Back to the Tivoli" variety shows and at "Generations in Jazz", held in May, Liam was again selected to perform and was the youngest vocalist by far.
Besides being on Australia's Got Talent, Liam has also appeared on Channel Seven's Good Friday Telethon, where he performed two songs with a large orchestra. Other television performances include Channel Ten's The Circle and Channel Seven's The Morning Show. In August Liam won Second Place in the Vocal Performance category of the International Unsigned-Only Music Competition. With almost 7500 entries from over 80 countries, this was a remarkable achievement, Liam's remarkable talent has captured the hearts of the Australian public and he has been in high demand. Over the past year he has performed over 110 public, corporate and private shows. More than anything, Liam is kept busy doing what he loves most... entertaining appreciative audiences everywhere.
