Working together at MTV by day, it wasn’t until they were asked to play at award winning rapper and producer, Snob Scrilla’s album launch party that they realised there may be more to their passion for ‘90s hip-hop, early noughties RNB and late night partying than first thought. Over the past five years, the duo has made a name for themselves with their ability to throw down an infectious, feel-good set at some of the hottest clubs, world-renowned festivals and industry events across the world.
The duo exhibit a knack for knowing exactly what the crowd wants with their ability to create a killer house party atmosphere wherever they go. Their musical style is described as the ‘ultimate party set’, encompassing everything from old school hip hop, RNB, commercial dance music and rock anthems.
Highlights for The Faders have included touring Asia [Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan], playing festivals including Summadayze, Splendor in the Grass, V Festival and Future Music Festival, supporting and creating the musical score for the Crusty Demons Thirst for Destruction tour, playing at the Sydney Opera House for New Years Eve alongside Sneaky Sound System and performing at the 2013 ARIA Awards alongside Lorde, Bliss N Eso and Alicia Keys.
The Faders have also played for some of the world’s biggest brands including Gucci, Chanel, Absolut Vodka, Crystal Head Vodka, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Tag Heuer, Grand Prix, Who, Famous, Cleo, Cosmo, Myers, David Jones, Uniqlo and many clubs and private events around the country. The Faders are set to release their second compilation album through Universal Music later this year
