Andrew Jones

Andrew Jones performed a number of leading roles inclusive of Marcello in La bohème, Papageno in The Magic Flute, Le nozze di Figaro and Gulielmo in Cosi fan tutte just to name a few. He has reprised roles including Jake Wallace and José Castro in La fanciulla del West, Maxamillion in Candide, Mr Redburn in Billy Budd, Slim in Of Mice and Men and Masetto in Don Giovanni and General Von Klimt in Two Weddings, One Bride. In addition, he has the role of Nachtigall in Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg locked in for 2018 which he will be performing with Opera Australia. Andrew has appeared in a range of concerts nation wide which encompass Sydney Philharmonia, Orchestra Victoria and Sydney, Melbourne Symphony Orchestras. He was given the prestigious honour of appearing in the recording of Essgee Entertainment’s The Merry Widow and on the Opera Australia/ABC Classics DVD presentation of Trial by Jury & HMS Pinafore.
