Byron Mark is a professional percussionist, pianist and composer based in Sydney, Australia. Having played in national festivals and international tours, he has established himself as an in-demand funk, flamenco, classical, jazz and pop performer over the last ten years.
On the live circuit, Byron can be spotted playing in a variety of acts. Multi-tasking on keys and percussion, he performs in acoustic duo and trio acts with various singers and instrumentalists. Through traditional training in the Djembe and Cajon, Byron is an integral member of world music flamenco ensembles and African drumming troupes. Although, his passion for music would not be complete without regular performances in larger funk and afro-beat groups.
Byron’s latest project melds his multitasking abilities and charismatic stage presence to pioneer a new-age one-man-band performance style.
