Charlie Griffin

Charlie Griffin was born and educated in South Africa and is now living in Perth, Australia. Taught guitar privately and did gigs, soon becoming a full-time performer, as a solo artist at various pubs, restaurants, promotions, functions, events, and as vocalist/guitarist with various bands. Besides a broad cross-section of universal party music, Charlie also has a good cross-section of well-loved Israeli dance, as well as beautiful ballads, singing in Hebrew and Yiddish. For many years, Charlie Griffin and his band were the first choice for Jewish weddings in Cape Town, South Africa, because they always delivered. The Charlie Griffin Band also performed at and backed various performers for Yom Ha’atzma’ut for a celebration of thousands of guests. Charlie Griffin, as a solo performer duo, trio or up to a 6-piece band, is a fresh, yet experienced newcomer to the Perth Jewish wedding scene. Charlie Griffin is suitable for all events including weddings, private parties and corporate events.
