Jon Alban is a solo artist working in the rock genre, with a sound shaped by a broad range of influences including blues and electronic music. He established himself in 2009 with his debut independent album, Coalsack, and has since followed it with two singles, "The Song" and "Deep Bass." Jon writes all of his own material, as he always has, though he remains keen to collaborate with other artists along the way.
Music has taken Jon across several instruments over the years. He first fell in love with the piano, then discovered his voice, before teaching himself guitar, and today performs as a singer and guitarist. That combination of influences and self-taught craft gives his music its own distinctive, genre-blending character.
