Lena Cuglietta

S A X O P H O N I S T Lena Cuglietta, originally from British Columbia Canada, received a Bachelor of Music degree in Saxophone Performance from the University of British Columbia in 2005, as well as a Master of Music Degree in Saxophone Performance from the University of Florida in 2007. Since then, Ms. Cuglietta has been very active in the music scene in Hong Kong performing regularly with numerous ensembles, namely the Stray Katz Big Band, Vocal Groove, Island Express Jazz Orchestra, Happy-Go-Lucky Big Band, and Pete Moore’s Martini Nation. Still maintaining her classical roots Lena is a founder of SaxMax saxophone quartet and has performed with the Macau Orchestra, the Hong Kong Sinfonietta and has presented concerts and recitals in Hong Kong, China, Macau, Japan, as well as throughout Canada and the United States. Lena’s most recent musical avenue is alongside DJ/Vocalist Ela Alegre and can be seen regularly as VoSSa at the beautiful patio of Sevva.
