Peter Thornhill’s experience and expertise in the financial services industry spans over forty five years.
Educated in Melbourne, Peter spent five years with one of Australia’s leading insurance companies before going overseas in 1971. Initially a private client adviser with a London Merchant Bank, in 1982 Peter joined one of the UK’s largest Unit Trust Groups and was appointed a Director in 1984.
In April 1988 he returned to Australia and worked for a number of major investment groups.
Peter is now the principal of his own business, Motivated Money Pty Ltd and consults to a number of Australia’s leading financial institutions including CBA, Westpac, NAB, CPA and The Australian Shareholders Association.
His wealth of experience combined with his insights into wealth creation through investment and his entertaining presentation style make him a highly sought after presenter at professional conferences and a financial commentator in the print and electronic media.
He has recently added the title of author to his list of accomplishments, having published a book, Motivated Money about investing. Already widely acclaimed, the book is dedicated to encouraging people to take responsibility for their financial futures.
