Since moving to Sydney to join the Channel Seven team as a senior news reporter in 2007, Sarah’s profile has grown enormously as she has gained a wealth of experience and covered a wide range of local and international stories some of which include; the devastating Black Saturday bushfires and the tragic 2009 tsunami in Samoa.
When approached by Seven to work from Los Angeles as Seven’s US News Correspondent in 2009, Sarah jumped at the opportunity to spend time sampling and seeing some of the US. She filed reports for Sunrise, The Morning Show and Seven News ranging from the Fort Hood massacre in Texas to covering the 2010 Australian Winter Olympic Team’s preparations.
Sarah has also interviewed an impressive list of high profile celebrities and sporting stars including David Beckham, Cate Blanchette and Hugh Jackman.
Born and raised in Adelaide, Sarah completed a Journalism degree at the University of South Australia where she majored in International Relations and quickly began her career as a news journalist at DMG Regional Radio. After a short time, Sarah was quickly noticed by Channel Seven and worked as a fill in presenter on Seven News in Adelaide and as a presenter on Discover Adelaide, a local travel and lifestyle show.
