The Pacific Belles are Australia’s hottest retro style singing trio. Inspired by the music of the 1940‘s, Betty, Dot and Mabel will take you on a journey back in time to re live all your favourite classics such as ‘Boogie Woogie’ and ‘Don’t Sit under the Apple Tree’.
The Pacific Belles have been performing regularly in Melbourne at Paris Cat Jazz Club, Red Bennies, Burlesque Bar and Madame Brussels cocktail bar. They have performed at The Butterfly Club, The Crown Casino, Myer, Westfield, Racing events and most recently on board Regent Cruise Lines. Their show ‘Sing, Swing, Get in The Mood’ was a sell out at the Melbourne and Adelaide Fringe Festival where they received rave reviews and they have since been dubbed “Melbourne’s very own Andrew Sisters”.
Betty, Dot and Mabel have sung along side the famous 10 piece swing band The Pearly Shells on numerous occasions. They were the supporting act for Tyla Bertolli from the X Factor for her single launch, they’ve sang on Melbourne’s very own Gooney Bird Aircraft at the Melbourne Air show and even released a Christmas single “If you want a Happy Christmas” with Neighbours Star Alan Fletcher!
The Pacific Belles are regulars on ABC Radio and were honoured to be asked to sing for 774‘s Live broadcast at the Shrine of Remembrance on Anzac Day 2013. They’ve also appeared on Glen Ridges Radio Show, Radio Adelaide, SAFM, FIVE aa, the cover of MX, Frankie Magazine and in a Vodka ‘O’ commercial. Their TV appearances include an interview on Channel 31′s ‘Media Strikes Back’ and ‘The Comic Strip’, Channel TEN Weather with Mike Larkan and Channel Nine News where they sang for the Sailors of The USS LASSEN.
Betty, Dot and Mabel are thrilled to have been asked to represent Australia in The World Championships of Performing Arts this year. The event takes place in LA this July and they hope to bring back a Gold for their country!
