All good things come in small packages; and this most definitely
describes the fiery pocket-rocket Carla Troiano.

between Etta James, Tina Turner and Anastasia.
Finding her roots in Soul, Funk and RnB, her versatile and dynamic voice shines through in any performance.
Witnessing her on stage is an experience in itself. This sensual songstress truly awakens your senses, with a performance that draws you in, and gets you dancing and grooving alongside her.
Carla fronts one of Melbourne’s leading funk/soul bands Mayfield. With performances at the iconic Espy in St Kilda and Melbourne Music Week in Federation Square amongst others under her belt; she is making a splash in the soul/funk scene. She is also performing alongside Sam Ludeman in the Sam Ludeman Band at private functions both large and small throughout Australia.
Her talents as a songwriter have led her to collaborate with many artists across a number of genres. She has recently taken part in the “Women in Soul” album that has been supported by PBS. “Troiano is an absolute powerhouse, with vocal ability of Steller proportions and an effortless command of showmanship that is engaging and evocative”- Melbourne Arts Fashion. “Not only does Troiano stand loud and proud, but she embodies the essence of soul music and represents a confidence and vulnerability that other female artists can certainly learn from”- Kara Bertoncini
