Janine is no ordinary self-made entrepreneur. She launched her juice and smoothie empire in 2000 from her kitchen bench, transforming it into an international success story (Boost Juice Bars now span 13 countries, with two additional brands—Salsas Fresh Mex Grill and Cibo espresso—totalling over 500 stores).
Her journey to success, however, has been far from conventional.
“I’ve had no formal business training, just a simple common sense approach to business. I did not know what the traditional path looked like, so I made it up along the way” she admits.
While many follow the path of studying rigorously, achieving top grades, and attending prestigious business schools or universities, Janine charted her own course. She worked three jobs to fund her dream of traveling the world, letting life lead her on a unique journey. This odyssey took her across the globe, from serving as a nanny in a small French village to catering for rock and movie stars on yachts in the South of France and the Caribbean.
Driven by a profound passion for business, Janine's empire has generated over 2 billion dollars in sales globally, processing thousands of tons of fresh fruits and vegetables annually.
Her innovative business strategies have positioned her as a trailblazer in her industry, recognized by BRW as one of the top 15 individuals who have revolutionized business practices in the past 25 years.
Today, Janine shares her wealth of knowledge and experience with others. She serves as a "Shark" and mentor on Channel Ten's Shark Tank and holds the prestigious role of Honorary Professor at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management, inspiring the next generation of business leaders.
