About Lion Dance
Lion Dance Kids uses storytelling to introduce concepts of strength, wisdom and bravery. Narrating a hero’s journey explaining the origins of COVID-19, chinese celebrations & cultural diversity among other programs. We aim to give insight into the Chinese culture and introduce the concepts of Kung Fu to kids, defined as the mastery of skill over long periods of time. Developing resilience, grit, and responsibility in children.Hosting classes to experience Lion & Dragon dance in person, providing an upfront encounter with the costumes and instruments. To spark interest in pursuing the art form with greater detail.
