Mark McKeon is one of Australia’s foremost advocates for work/life balance and team cohesion. He delivers engaging keynotes and customised sessions, along with his team, conducts workshops and conference programs focusing on Lifestyle, Team Building, and Leadership.
Mark served as the High Performance Coach for the renowned Collingwood AFL team for 15 years and was Consulting Editor for Ultra-Fit Magazine in both Australia and the UK. He is the creator of the innovative Go Zone and Every Day Counts programs, with the latter being endorsed by fitness bodies throughout Australia.
As the author of four books, including Work a Little Less, Live a Little More, which has become a cornerstone for work/life balance in corporate Australia, Mark's influence is widely recognised. His book Every Day Counts was the first to be endorsed by the Australian Government’s Health Promotion arm, Active Australia.
During his tenure at Collingwood, Mark’s team managed the club's entire fitness and training function, and he served as the Club Runner for a record-breaking 250 AFL games. He also contributed to Victoria's efforts in the State of Origin Series on five occasions.
Mark played VFL football for Melbourne and represented Victoria in the VFA. In 1998, at the age of forty-one, he was part of the winning team in the inaugural AFL Triathlon, competing against current players from all teams. That same year, he competed in and provided commentary for the gruelling British Cross Training Challenge in London.
