Myf Warhurst is a celebrated broadcaster, TV presenter, journalist, and author, widely recognised for her role as a team captain on ABC TV's beloved music quiz show, Spicks and Specks.
She has also served as Australia's commentator for the Eurovision Song Contest alongside Joel Creasey and co-hosts the popular arts and culture podcast, Bang On, with Zan Rowe.
Known for her distinctive voice in Australian entertainment, Myf also voices Aunt Trixie on the acclaimed ABC Kids show Bluey. With a career spanning over two decades in radio, she began at Triple J and played a key role in launching ABC’s Double J radio station. Her broadcasting journey includes hosting a daily national arts and culture program on ABC local radio and contributing to various commercial radio networks.
Beyond radio, Myf has ventured into documentary presenting, featuring in productions such as SBS and Blackfella Films’ Meet the Neighbours, and contributing to ABC’s Catalyst with series like Keep On Dancing and The Truth About Menopause. She has also explored diverse projects including Who Do You Think You Are? for SBS and made waves on series 5 of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, where she made history as the first woman in South Africa to bungee jump from a helicopter (not entirely voluntarily). She has also appeared as a panellist and correspondent on Channel Ten’s news program, The Project.
In September 2022, Myf released her memoir, Time Of My Life—an engaging blend of wisdom, humour, and heart that celebrates the musical journey of her life. Previously, she served as managing editor of the weekly street press magazine Inpress and contributed as a columnist for The Age and The Guardian newspapers.
Most recently, Myf embraced a new challenge by starring as The Narrator in the 2023 production of The Rocky Horror Show, showcasing her versatility as a performer.
