PJ Madam is a reporter for Seven’s flagship news program, Sunday Night. Born and raised in Mackay, North Queensland, PJ studied politics and communications at the University of Queensland, leading her to become the youngest parliamentary attendant in Queensland's history.
She later pursued a diploma in Business and Media while working as an assistant media adviser for Queensland’s then-Deputy Premier. PJ began her journalism career in 2004 as an intern with Nine News Brisbane, eventually moving to Nine News Sydney as a reporter and producer.
In 2008, PJ joined SBS as a reporter and presenter for World News Australia, where she notably anchored the coverage of the 2011 Japanese Tsunami. Her career has seen her cover major events such as Cyclone Yasi, federal elections, and the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
PJ joined Sunday Night in 2012, with her first story being an on-the-ground report from the Burning Man festival in Nevada. Outside of her journalism career, PJ enjoys cooking and indulging in fine foods.
