Stephen Quartermain launched his journalism career in 1980 with Leader Newspapers before transitioning to the ABC and later joining Network 10, where he has maintained a prominent presence for over three decades. Concurrently, Stephen has contributed to radio stations such as MMM and 3AW.
Beyond his journalistic roles, Stephen serves as an MC, media trainer, and consultant, leveraging his extensive expertise across various platforms.
Stephen's illustrious career includes notable achievements such as covering Olympic and Commonwealth Games, World championships, and hosting and commentating AFL grand finals and Brownlow Medals. His breadth of experience extends to horse racing, Formula 1, cricket, and swimming, with appearances on popular TV shows like “The Panel”.
As an anchor at 10 News for more than 35 years, Stephen Quartermain is celebrated as a member of the MCG’s Media Hall of Fame and holds life membership in the AFL Football Media Association.
