Additionally, he took on hosting duties for the morning program on Sydney's 2UE radio station in 2010. He opted to step away from radio in 2011 to focus on opportunities in corporate MCing and hosting.

Liebmann launched his journalistic career in Cooma before relocating to Canberra and subsequently joining 2UE's newsroom in Sydney. He later assumed the role of director of news and public affairs at 2UE, where he presented an afternoon news and public affairs program before moving to 2SM in 1976. That same year, he became the host of the Seven Network's 11AM program.
