After retiring from AFL football in 2001 following an impressive 11-year career and 173 games with Melbourne, David transitioned into a successful media career. He co-hosts SEN 1116 Sports radio's popular program, "The Run Home," alongside Francis Leach, where they discuss current sports issues and results on local, national, and global stages. David also appears on Channel Seven’s "Game Day" program, providing expert analysis on AFL broadcasts, having previously contributed to their weekly "Sportsworld" program.
