Lennox Jordan is Australia's top steel pan master, following in the footsteps of his pioneering father, ‘Madman Jordan’. A Trinidadian who moved to Australia in 2009, Lennox handcrafts and tunes steel pan drums and leads pan groups of up to 60 people.
He is recognised nationally as a member of Melbourne Ska Orchestra and Nicky Bomba’s Bustamento.
Lennox excels in all aspects of steel pan—making, tuning, and leading bands. He has set up pan groups across Australia and has played a significant role in using the pan drum for community healing, particularly in Marysville.
His recent work includes extensive touring and festival appearances.
